Sleep Screening in Dental Practice: OSA (Obstructive Sleep Apnea) Risk Tools, Questionnaires, and Referral Pathways

Obstructive sleep apnea is a common yet frequently undiagnosed condition with significant implications for systemic and oral health. As healthcare professionals who routinely examine the oral cavity and craniofacial structures, dentists are uniquely positioned to identify at-risk patients and support timely referral. This webinar provides a practical, evidence-based approach to incorporating sleep apnea screening into everyday dental practice.

In the first hour, participants will learn how to recognize dental, craniofacial, and medical risk factors, integrate screening tools and history protocols into routine exams, and establish a clear workflow for referral and facilitating diagnosis.
